Game for science/biology nerds

This might be fun. I’ll describe a disease/condition and you have to guess the name. Whoever wins will get to quiz. We can limit the question to three criteria/hints or even two to make it a bit more challenging.

In this condition:

Men might have a somewhat female body shape
They are tall
They might have azoospermia

What is it?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

they have XXY

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Great thread princessjojo! :k:

Are you allowing people to use google for help?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Klinefelter syndrome

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Damn you! I should have done a google search to get the medical name for the condition.

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

are you insinuating that i googled it?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

No of course not, I googled what you wrote and realised my answer was the same condition, when I read the question I just knew it was XXY but never bothered to get the medical name. Now I’m upset because you might win instead of me:teary1:

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Good job sarab. Good job googling queer. :D jk

Google not allowed.

Alright sarab, I'll make the next Q for now, but whoever wins needs to carry it on!

In this condition:

Tall
Very long fingers
Lens dislocation.

What is it?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

no googling?!

“lens dislocation” makes me wince.. cant post anymore

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

But google makes one a phony nerd.....Ok ok y'all can google...

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Yayy Sarab!! Good job.

Marfan's it is.

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

ok here goes,

Severe abdominal pain
Respiratory paralysis
High blood pressure

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

is that a congenital condition or something acute?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

I think it's both.

Edit: It's genetic and aute

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

oh jeez.. that is depressing

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Respiratory paralysis..something to do with phrenic?
Abdominal pain: maybe liver something...

liver enlargement could compress phrenic..

but high BP...

is there a particular name for this condition?

Re: Game for science/biology nerds

Shall I give a clue?
