Are there any members here interested in C++/Game development? I wanted to get a small team together to learn the basics of game development and then create some simple demos. I am in USA and there isnt anyone close here that wants to join, but maybe some friends overseas?
Re: Game development
**Its a journey that most of us took alone and though it would have been fun to have an amigo tag along, its highly unlikely that someone will share your passion and drive. And the sooner you realize this the better off you'll be.
I can guide you in the right path if you want to start your journey * right away *

I got what I need covered from books, and some online help. My whole thing was that I just wanted a friend to do it with. Thanks beta for your advice.
Re: Game development
Hmm why not you join some enthusiastic game developers forums. I take you want to share tips and ideas with some mates, DEDICATED gaming forums are the right place for you.

In other words you're scared to do it yourself.

Haroon Beta, you have to get * real * friends and learn the basics of C++ or Java. **
and add assembly, VHDL, PICs, RISC and SCADA programming to the list if you wanna talk about electronics. ![]()
I am learning it.
[mod]Insulting people on this forum will not get you anywhere. Respect is earned. If you want others to respect you, give them some[/mod]
