lol@wax

doesnt everybody wish to be attractive? ... set society religion aside... it is our inert urge to impress others. making our body "apealing" is the most basic and urguably the most powerful way to "move the heads" :--D. So thats why they do it.... and its the same reason why we pump iron and drink protein shakes

Gamma bhai I already said NO oNe is seeing axcept one by onself :P No Hubby no brother no sister even then ?

Wax- just because noone else has to see it doesn't mean we don't. We don't have to do everything for anyone else, we do it for ourselves. We like our bodies too look nice as well. My friends and I hate having hair. Legs-my sister sees my legs, my mom does. I mean not on a regular basis, but they do see them sometimes. I don't have to cover everywhere when i'm with girls. hope that helps :)

:k:

it’s hygenic and besides, silky smooth legs feel nice and sexy

I SHAVE FOR MYSELF ONLY. I DON'T LIKE HAIR IN GENERAL, AND BESIDES IT'S KIND OF EMBARRASING HAVING HAIRY LEGS.

Ugggh. Why do men think everything females do is designed only for them? What rot. There are such things as self-satisfaction you know.

dont try to fool urself ana....
u know why u do it :p

well sometimes you gotta lift the pants or the skirt...like if your family makes a sudden plan to go to the beach and you're wading in the water...or you have a boo boo on your leg and can't show it to anyone because they're hairy!

Hehe, honestly, I do it for myself. I feel clean. If you're religious, then its sunnah to do it, whether or not you have a husband - its gotta do with cleanliness in general.

whoa, hold on there...this is new to me....seriously!?

shavin legs????
sunnah????

where did u get that from????

i thought its only the underarms and the pubic hair that need to be removed....

I thought that was what I was taught...maybe I have it mixed up.

it's a sense of fashion, the only way for women to keep up with modern day society. Although i do agree with what (I think) you are saying.

If it was after marriage, then that would b a different story.

Sunnah?? Sister can you please let us know your daleel for that??

Barak'Allahu feekum

Waxing aka major pain in butt. I hate waxing, it hurts way too much and you have to wait for your hair to grow out. I prefer shaving its a big time saver and so convinent. But waxing sure does leave the skin smooth and silky. So can shaving if you got the right skin and hair for it. Some girls get thick hair after shaving or they get these little goose bumps kinds dots that make the skin too rough.

Most girls shave for themselves even if they don't have anyone to show their skin to. Its about feeling sexy about yourself. Girls tend to get all happy (after waxing or shaving) about how good their legs and arms feel, they get all mushy about it. I think it also builds confidence.

What would be a different story? Please elaborate...

Mashallah, so its now considered Sunnah to shave your legs :smack: . Everyone, get ready, there has been a new addition into the book, thanks to PCG. Btw, men dont shave their legs, does that mean they are not clean?

Hats off to PCG once again for a splendid delivery, knocked the middle stump right off.

:bummer:

Leave PCG alone. She said she may have mixed it up-she wasn't sure. You people really get rude sometimes.
