my sister had this just after her first pregnancy........apparently the gall stones developed because her body was busy generating all sorts of extra calcium for the baby...... dunno how accurate that is.
she started getting the attacks when the little guy was just a few months old......and ended up in the hospital for emergency surgery.

what is the experience after gallbladder removal?
I also have gallstones and have been advised to remove the gallbladder. I have heard that I would have to be careful in my diet after its removal. and sometimes the pain does not get away even after surgery. is it true?

i developed gallstones after my pregnancy as well. had painful occurrences soon after baby was born and doctors thought it was always gas, or gastroenteritis/food poisoning, etc. Eventually they detected gallstones and I had to have emergency surgery to have it removed last year. I was really scared, but alhamdulillah procedure went well and recovery was ok as well. I maintained a strict diet for the first few months after removal (no spices, limited oil and basically healthy fruits, grains, veggies and low fat). My pain has gone away completely alhamdulillah!
