Re: Gallery Louvre
G.N. Kazi
Kazi’s water color paintings street scenes from cities of Sind in Pakistan. The dominating domes on mosques ubiquitous in the streets of Pakistan. His explorations of streets with older buildings in older parts of cities has produced limit-exceeding works which are best described as common day street. The slashes and dashes in his paintings and directional strokes and streaks typify his style in his exploration of texture, time and light and the dynamic physical connection between the work and his style of hurling colors on paper to come up with a very tidy street scene.

There are very talented pplz but all we need to promote their's work :)
For that how can we do that ?
Re: Gallery Louvre
Well, we guess both the organizer and visitors should work together. Here in KOB the arts gallery organized painting of pakistani but shockingly many of pakis didn't know about it. Moreover there was no advertisement in media or else to promote it.
I guess whenever these talented pplz come abroad we should patcipate and encourage others too to bring their family friends too see the talented work from pakistani brothers :)
Re: Gallery Louvre
Iqbal Durrani
Iqbal has always been a very confident in handling lines, space and colors. Each basic element is composed in harmony with each other, stolid but statuesque women in their nifty nudeness are re-lived by innocent looking pigeons; He manages to work on surfaces in painstaking ways that have his works the stamp of authenticity, coming once again closer to the real thing. The pigeons are arranged in imaginative compositions to the works, including the large canvas, take from of the “Pigeons play”. He changes the pattern in lighter tones and purer colors as in demonstrating his skill with a grat vigor of youth who has so smuch to enerzies on the canvas.
