I am planning to visit the Galiat this summer, and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for good places to see, and activities to do (like hiking trails etc). Planning to go to Nathia Gali and surrounding areas. Also, if anyone has experiences of traveling in the area, please share

Well there are lots to see in Galyaat... I would recommend a track if you r interested in tracking...
Go to Ayubia... From Ayubia there is Pipe Line Track.. its normal good track. Lots of chairs and shades all over and its being kept good. But this is not the track I am talking about.
When you reach ghoRa Gali... where this track Finishes, there you will find the Tourisim Office. Ask them for the Track from ghoRa Gali to Nathya Gali.. Normaly ppl dont go through that as ppl dont know abt it. Tha track is natural, very beautiful and very refreshing. The starting of the track is hidden behind a banglow ... so you will have to ask for it. If you are a nature lover, you will enjoy it.
When the track is finished there comes a small village sort of palce, its called Lalazar, you will see lush green landscapes.... grass all around and cows grazing here n there. The color or the Grass is amazing there.
After crossing Lalazar you will see the Nathyagali Park at your left. Its good as well. And when you move down.. You will be on Road.... Nathyagali...

From Ayubia there is a trail leading to Ghora gali and from there a linking trails to Mushk puri, Lalazar. worth visiting and scenic green pastures and alpine forest and clear trail.
I did it as part of a organized tour/trek and it was great..
