oh no.No abusive language at all, which kind of sucks for me now because i dont have a good vocabulary of cruse words.
but once in a while mom used to get really annoyed and cross the line and things said were taken very seriously to the point that i wouldnt speak to her for days.
Never. I think I heard my dad once almost say something in Punjabi...but he stopped himself. I've never even seen my parents argue/raise their voice...so, yeah. Same with my mom, maybe once or twice in my life I've heard her swear on the phone lol.
In fact when I was around 10, I heard the word of Sindhi language and without knowing that its a BIG BIG Gali, I used it at home as punctuation. Abbu over heard this and he knew Sindhi very well (he lived in interior Sindh for around 12-13 years). I was ‘punctuated’ appropriately
Wow I give props to you guys, I feel like a total badass
Growing up I have heard gali's from both my mom and dad........when it was needed or it was called for, they do try to limit it though. And whenever any of the kids say gali's we usually get yelled at.
Either way between siblings, gali's are usually used (we try not to in front of our parents though).......but we rarely ever mean it
Same here!! The first time I ever heard an Urdu gaali was senior year of high school when the last of my mom’s siblings moved to US, and my cousin’s initiated me in to the inner sanctums of KHI street talk…lol!!!
My husband has quite the potty mouth with his friends, but NEVER at home or in my presence!!
Big :nono: in my book!
I may let out the occasional F bomb in utmost frustration, but that’s it..Urdu galian…never
