and please don’t say customization, because i think most of the stuff you can do on android you can do with iphone when you jailbreak it .

If you want to support a monopolistic system, that is your choice. But I LIKE the fact that Android is an open system where ANYBODY can develop apps, any kind of apps, limited only by their imagination, and the fact that most are free or really cheap. iPhone wants to control it all, limit what can be done, and charge a lot for it.
And Android has SMS Backup, which automatically backs up your texts to your gmail acct, in conversational thread style, so you always have them, and they are searchable. Maybe the new iPhone will have this capability, but they never have had this feature before.
And why do you want to buy something where to get it to do what you want it to do, you have to jailbreak it, alter it, and render the warranty null and void?

well i find apps that were free in itunes are paid apps in the android store. all this free vs. greedy is a bunch of nonsense. quality of apps sucks big time in the android store too. someone needs to curate the apps down.
and anyone can write apple apps too, the SDK is free afaik.
the only difference is iphone doesn't give you all the knobs. android sorta does. but not everyone wants to fly their own planes.

The market does curate down the bad apps. If an app is crap, the reviews will tell you so.

It's been a long time since I've been so completely satisfied with a phone. I'm not sure I'm interested in switching to any other phone. But I am interested in seeing what iPhone5 has to offer. Like I say, it's good to keep your options open.

No its not true. Full versions of angry bird are paid versions in android and apple store. They have ad supported smaller versions that are free in both stores.

So there's a comparison on the Engadget site comparing the iPhone 5, S3 and Nokia Lumia 920. You'd be crazy to not want an S3.
