Gajray in London

Hi Guys…

My sisters getting married and wanted to know if you guys - the experts - know where I can get gajray in London. I wanted to get gajray to wear around my hair for the mehndi but cant seem to find any. Im actually considering importing them from Pakistan LOL

http://www.chaandbazaar.com/ do fresh ones, their expensive though look like they use carnations, I guess u could make them urself?

Aliya=Tried southall but they dont do gajray like they do in Pakistan!!:( sucks cus they look awesome there!! I might try and sneak some in next time I go out there hehe!!

They will die, you have to keep them refrigerated.

There is an indian florist in west croydon that does the proper ones (jasmin flower).

I don't know what it's called but it's between Mayday hospital and west Croydon station. I walked past it last year and saw them in the window so went inside to check it out. They had fridges to store them and said they should only be removed on the same day of use. Can't see it on street view but it was there last year!

I managed to find that shop on London Road, Croydon. I was going pass on the bus but I noticed they had four locations, two of them being Croydon and Wembley.

It’s called Valli’s Fresh Flowers. 290 London Road, 02086657245

Website is a bit naff and out of date contact details. But in the shop they did have regular gajray that we are used to buying in Pakistan. I’d give them a call and ask for the locations of their other shops etc.
