Gaali or calling names in different languages

I know its “R” rated thread but I need to open this thread because some of the seriously don’t know meanings of some “GAALIS” and it gets them in trouble. Most of the Urdu people know punjabi gaaliyaan and they try not to say it if they know the meanings. One of my very lovely friend who was from Karachi she didn’t know much punjabi gaalis. Once I went to her house and she was holding her 8 mnths old baby and out of love she was calling her “chut-ya”. O meray payaray ******* I was like aap ko pata hai aap kaya keh rahi hain and she said yeh its just name out of love. I told her please ask your husband if this is a right word. Next day she called me its a regular word. Then I told her its a big gaali in punjabi and please try to avoid it in front of other people. Even I don’t know the exact meaning of it but I know its a gaali. So name some gaalis with meaning but BEWARE don’t call each other names :asa:

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

Phapha kutni = Chugal Khor

Maran Jogi = Marne ke qareeb

Tut pa’inay = Had haram

Meesni = Ghunni = Meethi Churri

Now what is that Khsma nu khani?

PS: :omg:

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

That gali is also a Urdu gali. I dont know the exact meaning but I know that its a vulgar gali, so am surprised that your friend and her hubby did not know that.

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

It was very shocking for me too calling baby again and again that word.

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

There are few main categories of non-vulgar galis in Urdu ..

one that implies that the recipienst is from lower caste .. Chamar, kamin, chooray and such ..

one that implies that recipient is an animal ..Gadha, kutta, suwar ..

and then character/personality assassination .. Jahil, bewaqoof and such

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

then why were you calling baby again and again that word

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

Even there is a short form of this gali (Chey aadmi) very commonly used here in Karachi. :D

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

Did I say that word no :bummer: I cannot even call that. I some how know what it means but I am not saying it :emmy:

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

Re: Gaali or calling names in different languages

Technically yes from males perspective, unless a man express it in this way:
