FYI -NY: MCN & Holy Trinity Church - Peace Planting Invite

Significant Ceremony Invitation!
AA: This coming Sunday June 22, MCN invites you to join us to our Peace Rose planting ceremony at Holy Trinity Church at 316 East 88 Street, near 2nd Avenue. We will assemble as the Congregation completes their baptism ceremony and the walk into the lovely garden for a brief planting ceremony, prayers and refreshments. we hope we are doing more than planting seeds of peace between neighbors! We hope you will be part of this!

Holy Trinity has generously shared office space with Muslim Consultative network in beautiful buildings “Using the romantic forms of the French Renaissance (Francois I) in golden brick and terra-cotta, the architects here created a touch of the Loire Valley embracing a garden oasis surmounted by one of New York’s great bell towers.” American Institute of Architects Guide to New York City

To mark our solidarity as people of the Abrahamic tradition, Holy Trinity has written us up in their newsletter-- and also (we expect the next evening) a second rose planting at 96 Street Islamic Center in the coming days. We most need our guests at the first ceremony as the congregation will like to meet other people of faith and good will.

The Church planting will be from appx 11:15 to 12:15 June 22 Though this is only symbolic, this is a significant bridge building occasion. Please, we really need YOU to be there and for you to tell friends and family. If you cannot be there please try to arrange for others to come. Let us know–RSVPS not required bur appreciated. Holy Trinity is near 2 Avenue-- the Lexington Avenue line train to Lex and 86 Street is a five-six minute walk away.
