in a way, participation is good, hopefully.
but, my hope is that if any one of us, volunteers to be on air, we do a massivework, through such opportunities, and dispelling of misconceptions, rather than become and look like a helpless or targeted group of people complaining about the stereotypes against us, our faith and our native countries.
NEW MAJOR NETWORK TV SHOW SEEKS
MUSLIMS OF MIDDLE EASTERN OR SOUTH ASIAN DECENT WHO WANT TO DISPEL
STEREOTYPES
A new Major Network TV show will profile people in different
communities across the country. This one-hour documentary-style
series will take a look at the people and cultures that make up
America. We will also explore the issues that families from varied
backgrounds face in their day-to-day life and provide opportunities
to them that they might not have access to otherwise.
What we are seeking:
Muslims of Middle Eastern or South Asian decent with dynamic
personalities who can handle serious topics with humor and grace.
Qualifications
There are no actual qualifications. That said, anyone who can tackle
the subject of stereotypes with humor and insight we would love to
meet. We are looking for people of all ages – young singles living
in the city, families, and we are specifically interested in meeting
Muslims who have served (or their family has served) in the military,
police or fire department.
Compensation:
This is a paid opportunity. We value your time and contribution to
this groundbreaking project.
