Future science will enable your fallen hair or skin cells to reveal your face

It’s amazing and unbelievable that future science will enable forensic experts to draw the face of a criminal by collecting his hair or skin cell samples.

Yes this is possible. Suppose the DNA region which is responsible for facial features is identified then it will be possible to develop software which would then decode this information and draw the picture of the criminal. Isn’t it exciting!!!

Let me have input from readers..

Re: Future science will enable your fallen hair or skin cells to reveal your face

Technically speaking... yes...

After all... every cell in our body contains the same genetic material. Once you identify what gene codes for what... you can get an idea of what a person looks like.

Re: Future science will enable your fallen hair or skin cells to reveal your face

but remember, it's not only genetics that make u look as u do, consider environment, nutrition, whether u were hit in the face by a bus the other week........things like that.

also, it could also be said that future science will enable man to sprout wings and fly off the top of skyscrapers......theries are nothing but theories until proven.....even if they do work, will it be in your lifetime, if not, too you they will always be nothing but a idea in some scientists big brain.............

Re: Future science will enable your fallen hair or skin cells to reveal your face

and remember, just cus something works out perfectly in theory, don't mean the final product will achieve the predicted outcome.......there are limitation, if not physical then financial, i.e. cost effectiveness.......

one last thing about theory...........mathermatically 1 can equal 2, dont ask me too prove but i have seen it 'proven' to me.

sal35, I get the impression you're very found of genetics?

Re: Future science will enable your fallen hair or skin cells to reveal your face

You're quite right. I am fond of genetics. I used to keep myself updated all the latest developments on this subject until last year before moving to Canada. But now I hardly get any time and have lost the track.
