Hi guys,
What you think the future of Vespa scooters in Pakistan?
To determine the future you need to look at their present. How is vespa doing in Pakistan right now? Are they still blue?

now some young boys are riding wasp's ... different colors are coming out... the fun and charm of Vespa is growing up again !!!!
Vespa was great family transportation for the people who could not afford a car. It would easily accommodate a family of four (2 small kids of course) for a ride within the city.
If the scooter it's getting more affordable amongst younger crowd then I see lots of interesting modifications of the ride coming along. Vespa converted into 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, some other fun ride, a small business hauler (mobile paan shop, mobile chaat and samosa shop etc) and such.
Re: Future of Vespa Scooter
The last vespa model to come to Pakistan was the 1983 piaggio 150es, with that large rectangular headlamp. That said, I can still see many of the late 70s models plying Pakistani roads. I guess the reason for the demise of the vespa in Pakistan is its higher cost, compared to motorbikes, high fuel consumption, and finally, its maneuverability. We still have our late father's 1980 piaggio sitting in our garage.
Re: Future of Vespa Scooter
There is no future for either Vespa or any other Scooter in Pakistan... Scooter is considered as a Ladies' Vehicle, and much disliked by our people... The main reason of Vespa's Restraining was the engine which was much imbalanced on the rear-right side of the frame... which caused severe accidents on the road... also, 150 and 175 cc 2 stroke engines were so much fuel consuming... where as Pakistan is an economical land with majority of middle class families living in it...
however Piaggio is investing alot these days... they introduced new 125cc and 150cc Ravi Piaggio Storm **Motorbikes **which are getting fame in Pakistan...
