Future of Urdu is Brighter in India than Pakistan ?

I don't know about that.

As much as I dislike the grammatically incorrect, colloquial Urdu spoken in many parts of Pakistan, the language still enjoys official patronage at the national level there. In India, on the other hand, Urdu has no official status outside a handful of states...and even within those states, you would be surprised by how few people still even know how to read the script...to the point where a lot of people are advocating abandoning Urdu script entirely and transitioning to Devnagiri.
