Future of regressing Pakistan

Pakistan is recently downgraded to authoritarian regime from hybrid democracy. I wonder what is the plan on the minds of powerful guys. Apparently it looks like they dont even bother how our neighboring countries are making progress. They believe Pakistan as a country will not crumble and will keep lingering. So-what if we are no making progress as India is doing, we will be getting our share first, no matter others will get or not.

What IK has done to youth is not going to reverse any time soon. Apart from army being criticized for political role, they have got a bigger challenge that people asking what our army can do to help Palestine and other oppressed Muslims on social media, in very harsh tones. This is spreading like a fire, and it came from Khan’s style of criticizing establishment and their influencers disseminating it to common people.

Establishment could have handled it better?

What you guys think?

You think they care or give a toss? Obviously not, they are just serving their self interests. The Pakistani military mind is a diseased mind, contrary to popular belief their loyalty is not towards the country, its only to their institution, their discipline, their chain of command and their chief. And the top brass’s loyalty is towards their plots, their power, perks, privileges and how much $$$$$ they can make.

Like it or not, the army and the judiciary are this country’s biggest enemies.

Dollars hungry, no denying. But hard believe how desperate they are.

Its not desperation, just endless greed.

I think they are the state actually, following might is right rule. We as a country of least creative people, and if am not wrong, mostly dumb people couldn't develop such powerful institute. This is British empire extension, and we have to deal with it.

If you want to see the future of Pakistan today, visit Egypt. You will get the feeling first hand of how a country that is run by intelligence agencies feels like. The only way in Egypt to lead a decent life is to either join the military or start working for the military in whatever capacity possible. Those belonging to the "Marshal race" live in lavish gated-communities while vast majority of Egyptians live in poverty and humiliation. For example, recently Egyptian Journalists Syndicate, the largest union of journalists and media persons in Egypt protested for several days about the censorship regarding the genocide of Palestinians but there was no news on the Egyptian TV screens about their protests, except for attempts at discrediting the very journalists participating in the protests by military-owned journalists, who get to keep their public facing jobs while others can lose their jobs at anytime. The economy of Egypt is in shambles and is only sustained with IMF loans and US/EU financial aid, yet the lifestyle of those connected with the military is over the top. That's the model international establishment is implementing in Pakistan as its the win-win situation for both the international as well as the national establishment.

GDP per Capita of Egypt is way higher than PK, they are close to 4K, Pk is 1500, they are not as regressive as PK, incidences of attacks on minorities like burning the Sri Lankan citizen Alive, 400 men mauling a u tuber at Maazar, digging up and raping dead bodies and terrorism are not near Pk. It will take PK a thousand year to become Egypt. Currently on its way to become Somalia. It is not just Military who is corrupt, from rikshaw to milk, food, making soap from sewer, mixing sewer water in milk..corruption is widespread in every facet of life.

GDP of Egypt is higher because they have 109 million people while being a major oil exporting hub along with tourism. Selling out Palestinians to Israel has allowed Egypt to develop Sinai as a tourist hub along with the usual pyramids. Pakistan could have worked on tourism as well but not only is the process cumbersome just like how Qatar / China found it impossible to set up factories in Pakistan, the army has also blocked off all sorts of areas in the name of national security.

Sorry to say but Imran Khan is part of the problem with his pseudoislamism. He has tasbeehs in tv interviews and used islam card in the Al-Qadir Trust case. Of course, his minions and Malik Riaz have now conveniently been missing from the proceedings in the court. This is what one gets when a playboy turned mullah who doesn't know much about Islam decides to become an Islamist. He cries about Bajwa yet it was he himself that gave Bajwa an extension as PM. I have never seen army chiefs or other military commanders get service extensions in America.

As for Palestine, people to need get a clue. First of all, Pakistan doesn't have aircraft carriers and long ranger bombers to do anything against Israel. Second, will any of the Gaza neighbors like Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia give bases to Pakistan and supply fighter jets to bomb Israel?

Finally, as much as we can abhor Israel's carpet bombing of Gaza, who asked Hamas to not only attack Israel but also rape countless israeli women?

Which quranic verse or hadith encourages rapes and mutilations of men and women in war?

Sure, Israel has some planted some false stories of rapes but even UN has now said that there are credible accounts of hamas rapes. It must be something that even Iran has backed out of supporting Hamas in an all-out war. I know that Hamas wanted the Palestinian issue to be relevant since they were being left behind to rot in the region. Netanyahu had famously quipped that we have successfully isolated Palestinians as no Arabs (especially the GUlf ones....) want anything to do with them while they are normalizing relationships with Israel. An introspection is needed by Palestinians as to why all their Arab brothers and sisters are adopting an **out of sight out of mind **approach with them.

Hamas has the most disciplined and most successful light infantry force in all of the Middle East against US-Israel, and al-Aqsa Flood being its most successful operation. I’m sure if there were no rapes during al-Aqsa Flood operation, those speaking against Hamas will still be able to pick on something else and continue to speak against it. Almost all rape stories have been debunked. But if there were any rapes that took place during al-Aqsa flood, they were NOT the work of Hamas fighters, but of those Palestinians who had entered into the occupied territory after Hamas fighters were gone. Hatred of ordinary Palestinians toward their brutal occupier of decades knew no bounds that day. For nearly 7 hours there was no coordinated US-Israeli response to al-Aqsa Flood that day. Also the history did not begin on Oct 7th, US-Israeli forces have been engaged in more rapes of Palestinian women both before and after Oct 7th. Palestinians were never forgotten by the Arabs and Muslim masses, it's only the US-Israeli puppet rulers who tried to forget them.

Pakistan was responsible and collaborated in killings of hundreds of thousands of Afghans and now these people want to jump on the bandwagon shaming Egypt. Egypt is staying neutral. They don't want to get their country turned to rubble. After 150 plus devastating attacks with total supremacy, Iranians cowered to their safe spots. It is all the gutless internet warriors who egg on the terrorists to put the civilians in harm. Palestinians were given a very economically vibrant community. Despicable corrupt authority stole all the money, Arafat was a multi millionaire, many Hamas leaders are billionaires.

I guess the guys celebrating Taliban are in hiding today, with attacks increasing on PK.

^^^ Absurd and rhetorical claims. You can only get away by making such claims here is because no one has time to argue about them with you.

I feel angry!

Future is that Pakistanis will 10 years from now migrate to India for work, like we have until now migrated to west and middle east.

1 indian rupee will be worth 10 times that of Pakistani one.

India is a third world country, but still Pakistan will be so much worse off.

Even today, a lot of people would want to go to India for work but its India that will not agree. Couple of decade ago, India used to beg peace, now the situation is almost other way around.

"I appreciate your thought-provoking insights into the current situation in Pakistan. It's indeed concerning to see the shift towards authoritarianism and the implications it may have on the country's progress and relations with neighboring nations. The focus on short-term gains over long-term development is a troubling trend. Prime Minister Imran Khan's influence on the youth and the increasing criticism of the army's political involvement are important issues that need to be addressed.

There's a valid question about whether the establishment could have handled these challenges better. It's crucial for the authorities to listen to the concerns of the people and work towards solutions that benefit the entire nation. Dialogue and transparency are key in overcoming such challenges and moving towards a more inclusive and progressive society. Thank you for initiating this discussion."
