Many cures are still outstanding.
But I am betting on reversing or stopping the aging process. That will be the discovery of the millennium.

Oh I think of a few:
Brain Repairs (as in dealing with fatal brain injuries)
Discovering/inventing something similar to the fountain of youth
Helping the blind see
Permanent and complete cure for Cerebral palsy

That has already been invented . I do not know what is technical or medical term for it but , you can eat to your fill and go put your fingers in your throat and puke it all out and then start all over again.
Some people are known to do that .

I hope they come up with a shampoo that would help your hair grow.. in case you are going bald. Will give some ageing men an extra incentive to shower.

Time machine, With a date and year handler.
Phones that can be charged with air - hence battery never gets dead!!! =D
