ask any couples who have tried for years to conceive if this is really a controversy. it is not something most of them would find objectionable (bible-thumpers, mullahs, and similar extremely "moral" people excluded of course).
btw, did you hear about the texan that froze his brain so that his grandson could have it? i think his last name is bush.

At least Canadian “nuttery” results in creating life, where as American nuttery, as evidenced by soldiers in Iraq, results in massive loss of innocent life.

there are egg banks in US, egg donations goes on and all, so I would not harp too much on canadian woman freezing her eggs.

All of you are either ignorant or fail to see the real issue here. I know about IVF and egg donation. We are talking about a woman donating her egg for her daughter ...which will mean that she will be giving birth to her own half sibling. Anyway, Canucks I did not think that you will understand the issue, but I am disppointed with US guppies.

Queer mian, its not issue if you are using the donated egg from some one who is not related to you...say like your mother. I am not saying that I am against it, its the mother part I am trying to understand.

If you have a better solution, then please by all means, go ahead. No one is stopping you. Or would you rather have her daughter remain incapable to conceive for the rest of her life (which, by the way, she still could if she decides not to utilize the egg)?
