You yourself or your friend might have gotten some nick name due to something they hate to eat like some people in Pakistan will by called chacha bhindi , some people who are very hostile and mad all the times are called karaila etc.
I posted this story in Paapay thread in cafe’ and got the ideas to start a thread on this topic.
One of our group of friends back home in Karachi was called paapay . He used to get so embarrassed when anybody will call him paapay and would start galian to the friend who will call him paapay. All a friendly joke.
The story is like this his eldest brother got married to a girl living in Hyderabad , Sind. So baraat went from Karachi to Hyderabad in the night , the program was to perform the nikha and rukhsati the next day and come back. The baraat was treated for breakfast with paapay and chai.
So all the friends of this guy paapay who were expecting some exotic breakfast were so disappointed. When they all came back everybody started making fun of this paapay and chai breakfast for baarat , our friend paapay started defending his bhabi’s family. A strong argument took place for hours on this subject that is how this poor chap got this nick name paapay which got stuck to him for the rest of his life.
Any funny , unusual or embarrassing nicknames or related story given to you or other people , share them here please if you like.
Re: Funny , unusual , emabarassing nick names of friends.
One of my close friends was given the nick "khap" in college. He had this habit of dramatizing even the most trivial problems in life. The nick is now stuck so well, many people don't even recall what his full real name is.

Re: Funny , unusual , emabarassing nick names of friends.
It was just about a month that we had our classes started in medical college. Our biochemistry professor asked one of the girls to get up and asked her what are "lipids".
She didn't know the answer, but she just blurted, lipids are sticky substances.
The whole class burst into laughter.
Since that day onwards, she was called "sticky".
And after 5 years in medical college i did not know what her real name was.
Malang Bacha , the guy was addicted to pushto movies.
Re: Funny , unusual , emabarassing nick names of friends.
My brother and his friends use to call one of their friends "MAJ" because his first name starts with "M" and last two names start with "A" & "J" so this sequence has made interesting abbreviation. which is MAJ that means "Bhains".
