Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

It’s funny because the actual answer to that rhetorical question he asked would be that it is the meat’s fault that it was laying out there uncovered.

Now, I’m sure this Imam had good intentions and I can see where he’s coming from, but I guess it just came out wrong or something.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

depends upon meat and cat;s state of mind too.. bada ghost, chota gosht, fine cut etc. and if the cat has been well kept or neglected, domestic or wild.. want to enjoy meat or just want to spoil it.. and many other things u can guess..

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

Its the cat fault for not confirming before hand whether the piece of meat was halal or not.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

^ haha :D

I dunno about you all but I sure am gonna have a talk with my meat when I get home! :O

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

sad…pope’s quote on barbaric islam didn’t make it to the TIME MAGAZINE.so maybe whatever he said WAS INDEED TRUE…:halo: i always thought a POPE is more influential than an imam but then i was wrong…:stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

brilliant point.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

More than anything it is cheap shot for character assasination of cats. The fact remains unchanged, covered or uncovered Cats dont go for meat, they go for milk. or in extreme cases *chichrey * ( dont know what is its called in english)Meat is for lions, tigers :smooth:

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

^ hahaha u r funny in a not-so-funny kinda way. What a nutcase!

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

but ur not thinking about the way the imam meant it, he was only using it as an example, it doesnt matter whos fault it is, wether the meats or the cats, the point is as all muslims both men and women should dress modestly, i see some girls wearing tight fitting jeans and a top from beneath which u can see thier belly, yet they wear the nikab on there face.
what is the point of that?

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

The mullah is a dumbass.

In that ignorant example he matched a woman to a piece of meat, and implied that women are at fault if they get raped.

I suppose that explains why those full burkha clad women in cairo got raped last week in egypt.

Death to extremism. Death to extremist mullah. salay jaahil.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

LOL listen to yourself talk ya freakin hypocrite. :D

I completely agree with the Imam - women should certainly keep themselves covered...but I think the analogy was horrible, and also how he tried using this to support his claim that "it would be the fault of an unveiled woman if she was raped because her lack of covering would tempt men." Sure, that might be a small reason, but it's a bit extravagent saying that it would be her fault.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

I am the hypocrite?

You just agreed with the mullah dude, but then you try to refute him towards the end of the paragraph.

In agreeing with him you agreed that:
You are nothing but an irrelevant piece of meat, like his analogy states.
You agreed with him that if you don't wear a total burkha (yes thats what he meant by covering up) you give up the right to your virginity to any random guy, and it would not be his fault if you get raped!

Mind boggling, to say the least. His analogy is offensive. His logic is flawed. Why is he even in the western world, if he says such things and doesn't like such things to begin with. He should move out. Do you agree? Do you know if this man is even formally educated? Do you think he can even produce a "metric" certificate (I think thats what they go by in all of the british commonwealth world)?

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

OMG NOT AGAIN :smack:
People GET OVER IT!

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

Chichrey in english is known as sexy hot Pakistani lady politicians…

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

U sure ure not just exaggerating JUST A TAD  First of all , most niqabis wear full abayas, very few will wear jeans and belly shirts and covering their face. Srry to burst ur bubble but most niqabis aren’t that slutty :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

alig - Well thankyou for telling ME what I have agreed upon. Yes, I agree with the mullah in his intention to get a specific message across (women should cover themselves), however, I think he did it in a horrible manner and the analogy sucked big time.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

I do not know the man personally. It would be correct to assume then, you don't either. Hence, judging by what he has stood for in the past, and his rash stance on things, especially this current one, is it not logical to assume he meant what he has said is in line with what he has said before about women?

You must understand that when you say you agree with his general idea, but not what he said...is really confusing.

Re: Funny Quote from TIME Magazine

not wearing a hijaab doesnt mean not wearing anything does it now? you see women wearing skimph outfits but uncovered meat doesnt that equal to naked women? so i guess its the mens fault as well pious and God fearing men would just look down and walk away not jump on the women to rape her just because she wasnt in hijaab (religiously yes one should wear hijaab but you cant force them either)
