I’m sure most of you have seen these videos on youtube by now… Jimmy Kimmel issues challenges to parents to tell their kids that they ate all tehir Halloween candy or gave them a bad gift for Xmas…
I know some of hte reactions are pretty funny but majority of them I find just really really…really really really sad…
lol, the 2 brothers at the end of the Halloween candy video are both so cute :k:
The second video (halloween one) I can understand the reactions of the kids here. I find it normal behavior. The candy belonged to the kids and they had been collecting it themselves and must have been exciting to eat it. So it is very much understandable that they got upset when they heard their parents ate it.
The first video however…
The guy who got a pony while his sister getting a car, their indignation i can understand :k:
But the kids who freak out and start crying/getting slightly aggressive. I believe something went wrong there.
They have in their mind that is a must to receive a (‘good’) gift. That it is their right that they should get a gift. That is why they are doing what they are doing.
parents should teach their children that it is not obvious that they must receive a (fancy) gift at various occasions. And when they dont get what they want, they should not freak out.
I used poor English here, so hope my message is clear -_-
