Blitzer wants Musharraf to revise his statement that eye-rack was a bad idea. What a poop orifice this Blitzer!!! He ends the question by saying that "you are disagreeing with the President of the USA!". Dumb ass, most of the world disagrees with the President of the USA including 16 intelligence agencies of the US in their National INtelligence Estimate.

The "Situation Room" interview is the edited one. I saw the whole interview live and I tell you it was even better. Mushy started quoting UN report on Afghanistan that how the resurgence of Taliban is Karzai and drug traffic fault and Wolf kept blocking him but he kept on going. Also he said that the money that is fueling the Taliban is not from Pakistan because if it does than I and Prime Minister Aziz is funding Taliban because there are no philanthropists (sp?) in Pakistan.
He also asked him about Iran and nuclear profiliation where Mushraff said that Iran got some charts and other stuff from Pakistan and it does not help them make a bomb. When Wolf asked him about whether Pakistan supports Iran decision to be nuclear, President said no because Pakistan went nuclear because it has a real threat and Iran does not so we do not support Iran's decision.

I saw it live also. But I loved how confident Mushy was. Loved his answers and he was being straight forward. Wolf asked him if the CIA was actually in Quetta like 3 times > yeh, your ppl re there working with our ppl said mushy…

He really is very, very good. Pakistan is lucky to have a president who is actually articulate and intelligent. I have to admit that I'm a little bit jealous.

I think the question was very stupid. Why is Mushrraf responsible for Canadian troops safety? Let us put his words and reaction in context, in Canada President of Pakistan is being accused of endangering Canadians and other troops in Afghanistan by not doing enough to root out the Taliban and al-Qaeda and their sympathizers. This claim is ofcourse without any solid proof.

while george w. bush certainly has little, if any, support from the pakistan masses, a number of polls have shown a favorability rating of 60-65% for osama bin laden amongst the pakistani public.
i think the lowerst figure i saw was 51% in the most recent pew research poll.
