@MM

Oh MAN!! I love this thread!!

Ok, so my fav story…

Not exactly IT, but I was doing over the phone support while I worked at Geek Squad. So I get a call from a customer who is FUMING!! Like absolutely P-O’d! His monitor, keyboard and mouse aren’t working.
I went through the basic steps, all wires plugged in, etc etc.

After him yelling at me and saying “Do I sound handicapped to you!? I know how to use a computer! I know it’s all supposed to be plugged in!!”, this is the convo that followed:

Me: Sir, is your computer on?
Him: Well how the heck would I know that?! My monitor isn’t on!
Me: Is there a fan sound coming from the computer? Does it sound like how it normally does when it’s on?
Him: … Well, no?
Me: Sir, would you please press the power button on the front of the computer and tell me what happens?
Him: hangs up

lol…it does happen…there are morons out there…they deserved to be taken advantage of for being morons! lolz
