I would like to know what islams view is on funding “missionaries”. For example, if you cant/wont go around giving dawat as some do like for example those with the tablighi jamaat (but doesnt have to be them, can be anyone - its just an example), is it fine to fund them to be able to do so? A friend was asking, and he wants to know if there are groups or organizations that accept donations for such things. Dont know why he asked me, but he did, so thought I’d ask here. Thanks.
