The word used in Surah e Yusuf is : أَيْدِيَهُنَّ
that is cutting of hands, which is normally translated as cutting of fingers.

I just just love reading and Surah e Yusuf. truely termed as Ahsan ul Qasas

Tht word is hands…literal meaning is their hands
