In simple words...

FULL NAQAB i believe is wrong! I think just like the group of people who misread the meaning of jihad and go on a roll killing innocent people. Similar to that are those who do full naqab. If you have to show your face while doing Hajj in front of GODS footsteps where millions upon millions of people get to see your face then there is no reason to do it in the duniya. Obviously GOD made the face for people to see, not be hidden forever.

No hadith says that period. Quran never said that any where period. It was after the death of the prophet and I believe the caliphs in which it all started.
