Full facial threading

I want it but I’s scared. from past experience, threading the sideburns are wayy too painful and waxing results in the worst breakouts…by the time the breakouts are gone, the hair has grown back

Also I’ve heard the more you remove hair on the underchin/above neck area, the more the hair grows back?

And finally, when I look in bright light, I see a boatload of hair on my cheeks but it’s not visible in pictures…does that need to be get rid of or is it normal? :bummer:

:layd:

Re: Full facial threading

i thread my face by myself and it's pretty much painless.. it only hurts in the areas where the hair is long. so if your sideburn hair is long, i would recommend waxing your sideburns first (use the wax strips that you just need to rub between your hands to warm up, not hot wax) and then start threading after that.

i don't remove hair in the underchin area so i can't really advise there.. but i really don't believe that threading causes more hair growth.

in my opinion, you should remove the hair on your cheeks if they are visible in real life.. they are most probably noticeable outside in the sunlight. and especially if you remove hair from your sideburns, you should be removing it from the cheeks or else the hair on the cheeks become more visible.

you have no need to be scared about threading.. the first time it will hurt because your hair will be long but the pain will be less the next time around :)

Re: Full facial threading

OOOOH why didn't I think of that......if I cut the sideburns and just have the rest threaded...hmmmmm.

I used to be scared of it as well...waxing broke out my entire face...anyhow it doesn't make you have more hair growth, pain is bearable...easier than eyebrows and upperlip lol.

Re: Full facial threading

Threading and waxing (any temporary method that removes hair from the root) may increase the hair growth.
I had hair on my side burns and may be 2 hair on my chin that I started waxing and the problem got worse. I did it for about 5 to 6 years. May be it did not happen with some of the posters here but since it happened with both me and my sister, I know for sure that waxing and threading may increase the hair growth or may cause new thicker hair to grow.

You can use depilatory creams or bleach, or if you can invest money, get electrolysis done.
