As I heard its usually other way round . "Energy" level for men goes down , and increases for women . So might not be from romantic to perv pig , but from romantic to boring old man :D

exactly domestic abuse is when a husband or wife physically,verbally, emotionally abuses their spouse
it's a very serious issue.
what uzziel is talking about is a infidelity or a spouse becoming disinterested and is far from the same thing.
