Had there been no casualties to our jawans and officers, this whole Taliban story would be perfect for a Bollywood love affair.
In a difficult bollywood style love scene either heroin or a hero is playing hard to get. thus one of them ends up chasing the other while wrapping around trees, dancing through bushes, and singing songs on the snow capped mountains. Then 3 hours (long long hours) later, the chaser finally get the chasee and the whole cinema hall claps.
The difference in this mountain scene is though the lack of will of Pakistani people to face the reality.
It is really a battle between tribal ways and civilized world. One wants to bomb girl schools, and the other wants to educated the future generations without discrimination based on sex or ethnicity or religion.
It is a battle between going forward, or reverting back to the life of tents and camels.
It is a battle between freedom to remain clean shaven forced to grow foot long beard.
It is a battle between having simple pleasures of life like listening to your favorite music vs. bombing the CD shops.
And sadly, so far the primitive tribals are winning all in the name of Islam.
