BTW, what is the Neem fruit used for ( besides putting in toothpastes ). Is it edible ?
Also, these trees ( date palm etc. ) must be growing for a long, long time to be big enough to yield fruits. Sorry just trying to guess your age. Don't mind it. :)
I think the fruit of the Neem is edible. But being of such a bitter taste, why would anyone want to eat it? As for it's other uses, well the Wikipedia article on it says that it is sometimes use as a contraceptive too - Exactly how, I don't even want to imagine! But the myth is that this is a "heal all" tree.
I however like it because it gives a very good and cool shade. And the breeze blowing through it is also most refreshing! By the way, the Khajoor and Jamun trees are less then 10 years old. while I am 33.
