Is this Fruit Chat a non-desi dish?

If its desi dish then whats the actual name in Urdu / Hindi?

chaat as chatai... chandoo ki chachi ne chandni raat main chando k chacha ke chande ke chamach se chatni chatai wala chaat?

Oxford dictionary suggests the word chaat means an Indian dish of boiled vegetables or raw fruit, with spices. It isn’t a non-desi dish, in my opinion, because non-desi implies a fruit salad with no spices.

Wikipedia says, most chaats originated in Uttar Pardesh and then spread to the rest of India and then South Asia.

According to Wisegeek, the word “chaat” in Hindi means to taste. Most chaats are small dishes/snacks/finger food/fast food/appetizer. Started out as street food.

**Chaat masala ingredients: **amchoor (dried mango powder), cumin, kala namak (black salt), coriander, dried ginger, salt, black pepper, asafoetida (hing), and chilli powder.

**Fruit chaat masala ingredients: **Same as above but it tastes less of cumin, coriander and ginger, but more of chilli pepper, black salt, amchoor and asafoetida.
