Oh my god thats amazing....i loved visiting niagra falls when i was in canada years ago! I love that really old pic as well.

This is NOT Niagara Falls. This is American Falls, and it freezes every year. Niagara Falls never freezes.

i used to work there everyday during my teen life. never seen it freeze... seen people jump off, but never frozen.

it used to freeze over, like in that last pic. it's just that since they've started pumping the water to make the falls bigger, it won't freeze now.

Lahore_Ka_Cheetah is correct - american falls freeze over almost every yr in the winter…the horseshoe falls never freeze…well, atleast not completely newayz

either millions of years ago or thousands of years ago.. i forgot which one.

anyways, when i used to work there, i used to be asked some of the dumbest questions on earth by tourists, such as: what time do they close the falls? and, do fish go over the falls? sry, but couldnt help posting this
