Do they lose their nutritional content to an extent due to freezing them ?

Actually no, it’s quite the opposite. The fresh fruits and veggies at the supermarket are picked before they ripen, so they don’t reach their full potential for nutrients. But the frozen ones are picked off the vine once ripe, so they contain more nutrients. They’re just as good for you as fresh, if not better in some ways.
