Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

Best solution is simply to purchase the stick-on stuff you can buy at Home Depot.

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

^Yeah, I just got that for our windows by the door. So afraid to actually apply it!

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

it works well.....just make sure that the surface you are about to apply it on is very clean and completely dry.

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

Too late muzna baji, id already went ahead and did some. It's not that bad. Only thing is you have to make sure the area you spray in is very very very well ventilated.

Someone told me about the stick on's too but dunno why i just felt spray is a bit more convenient.

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

What spray did you use? I need to frost some of my conservatory windows, so looking for an easy solution.

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

I used RustOleum’s Frosted Glass. It’s $8 something with tax at Home Depot.

Make sure you wear something on your face while you spray and plan to not be in that area for atleast 4-5 hours after you spray.

Jee :hoonh:

For a good opaque look give the glass atleast 3-4 coats. Wait atleast 20 minutes between each coat to let dry the coat.

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

Thanks :) is it easy to get even? Also, what if you wanted to remove it later, is there a way to do that?

Re: Frosting Window / Glass via Frosting Spray

Heres another solution…privacy plastic sheets that stick to windows. I got one and it was very easy to put on and looks really nice. Theres all sorts of designs…take a look
