what do you have at the front entrance to make it look welcoming?

i currently have a coat rack and a accent bench, but i think i want to get rid of the bench and replace it with something else.., any ideas?

inside, the front entrance area of ours is very small, which is the reason i'am having difficulty figuring out how to change it up, i will try uploading a picture later.

My house(under constr) will have door opening into a hallway 1.8m by 4. Im planning to have down lights and huge mirror on one wall. Wat else can I have. Any ldeas?

Why not stick a mirror on the wall , who ever enters , gets to see themselves all happy and smiling , now thats welcoming , hai na :@:

the mirror would make the space look bigger.

i actually like a bench. it's easier to sit and put shoes on. (especially for older guests). and also could store shoes in the bench as well.

if ur space is small, try not to put too much thigns on the floor (like a plant).

a change of paint or a new rug will make a difference too.

Our entryway is on the smaller side too and I have put an expedit shelve(2x2) from Ikea there. There is also a bench along the wall to put on shoes and an accent mirror hangs above it.
Expedit shelves are amazing as they provide necessary storage and decorating space.

Outside we have climbing rose vines around and lot of flower pots with seasonal and non seasonal flowers in them and inside we have red carpet runner
