5 years down the road, the same fazulullah assume control of TTP and what was he thinking, can he stand against a state? Can he win it? What is his motive? Mean, what made him think army would not come after him or he was day-dreaming that he can defeat them?
I mean these terrorist had best bet, the negotiations were on, cease fire was there, they were kidnapping and collecting ransom, they were getting extortion money…like Altaf, he could have lived a lavish life…why he went for airport attack knowing that that govt is going to retaliate…
I think army is very much capable of clearing of the area, main issue is to set up civilian set up there, our armed forces are still stuck in swat.
the most important thing is government should talk to Afghanistan to seal the border and don't let these terrorists take shelter there.
Army should not rest till clearance of last terrorist. On this whole nation is with army and fully support its anti-terrorism act. I want to see Pakistan of 40, 50, 60 even seventies was not bad at all. Army alone can not fight these terrorists, it is duty of each and every Pakistani to unite against these animals like one nation.
For the time being seal the Afghan-Pak border, there should be no movement of goods and people, till army succeeds over these terrorists.

کیا اِن جانوروں میں اس نبی کے کردار کی کوئی جھلک نظر آتی ہے ؟
کیا یہ اس نبی سے کسی نسبت کے حقدار ہیں؟
کیا ان کا وجود اس نبی اور اس کے لائے دین کے لئے باعثِ ندامت نہیں؟
پس ان شیاطین کا صفایا ہی اس نبی اور اللہ کے دین کی نیک نامی کے تحفظ کا متقاضی ہے -[/RIGHT]
Very little will be achieved by the army as the militants will disperse and regroup at a later stage. ISI needs to take the lead and only it can be instrumental eliminating the militants backed by foreign powers.
That and there just needs to be tolerance being preached through Islam, not the stringent violent Wahabbi version that has crippled muslims everywhere since it's onset.
When the right message is preached , the TRUE ISLAM, it will spread like a fast ray of light.
