This article was interesting in Dawn today.
We have discussed here in detail earlier about the first Pakistani (a woman-Namira Saleem) who’s all set to be on the Virgin Galactic commercial space flight with 99 other space tourists. Although on a commercial space torurism flight, she becomes the first Pakistani in space. That too because she could afford it. The govt in a good decision by the ministry of tourism has declared her an honorary ambassador for Pakistan.
Then the Pakistani space and satelite development program and progress on an SLV is discussed.
If Pakistan is to have a space programme, it must be very limited in scope - limited to just being designed to put civilian and military satelllites into orbit.
Pakistan does not have the resources to justify even considering a larger-scale space programme that could put a man into space. We don't, and will almost certainly never, have any way of benefitting from that.
agrees, should be aimed primarily at military satellites with an off shoot for civilian satellites if feasible.
What would come before IRBM or SLV, Usually the SLV is an off shoot of a ORBM program but as Pakistan is not in need of IRBM wonder what route those in power will take.

Au Contraire!
Our Strategic Space Command can use this programme to send corrut politicians like Sharif bros, Benazir, Altaf into exile in the space. The will orbit the earth forever and have no influence on Pakistan anymore.

:)
Good point! but if it's another civilian program given to the corrupt generals, who will send them into space?!
