so how does this work.. do i get completely rid of the nappies during the day and just put undies on her? or does she keep the nappies (or pull ups) and I take her when she needs to go…?
advice would be REALLY appreciated..
I am over 6-7 nappies a day… the poor thing ends up wetting the nappy and then goes to the toilet cus she knows she has done it and needs to clean herself up..
Im gonna take Niksik’s advice and do the 15-20min thing.. but do i completely remove the nappy?
Sadzzz, you take the diaper/pull ups off during the day when you are at home. Put on a regular underwear. Then you take her to the bathroom every 15-20 mins first day (during the day). She may not "go" everytime and you don't want to spend too much time their either. Next day, you take her every half hour-45 mins.
When you sense that she is about to go for potty, you obviously stay longer. Place a stool under her feet. That makes it easier for them to apply force to their feet as that's what they are used to doing. Slowly they will learn to transfer weight to where it belongs (:D) Sorry for getting graphic here, please excuse this, but this is serious advice.
In 2-3 days, they begin to understand what they have to do.
Pull ups when you go out, and diapers at night only.
I will start trying that at home. Just need a good few days at home so I can get her started. I am not quite sure how they do it her daycare, hence i might ask them how they are training her so I can be consistent at home with her.

^ i provided the daycare with like 3 undies yesterday... two came back wet. First day, so I expected accidents. I really wanted to train her myself.. u know it was gonna be a lovely experiene (somewhat), but she's at daycare all day.. so they said they can train her..
Day 1 was really good. She did 2 accidents. One, cus she was playing outside and forgot she wasnt wearing a nappy but as soon as she did it, she came running back saying "Heba weeee" lol! Second accident, she got off the potty too soon and ended up doing it in her undies... my bacha
my little one is 25 month , but he is little shy to use potty trainer and cammode , today morning he hold his shee shee almost 2 hours , bcz he don,t want to sit on seat what should i do
so, we took her to a doc and basically we gve her this liquid sweet thing and she is back on track with the BM.
BUT
my hubby insisted she have her pull-ups on cus we had people over on Saturday and it seems she has gone backwards with the potty training. She didnt want to sit on the potty anywhere or do anything.. until lastnight.
so today, she has had 2 accidents at childcare and im a bit worried about her having another. She was so good last week Mashallah.. and i think ive cursed her progress :( I should so stop doting on her..
hey Niks. Yeah thats what im doing. I didnt push with sitting on the toilet. I thought she just doesnt want to so i'll wait till she's ready. She headed for the toilet herself lastnight, so that was a relief.
personally, i think she's still a little bit too little... but wants to do things cus all her friends at childcare are doing it too. Which is good. But, when weekends are full of trips to people's houses it gets a bit hard and confusing for her, I think.
