i heard from a friend that if frishtas are repelled by dogs , etc. a vacuum is created , which is then covered up by jinns.

i wonder if this actually happens

Yeah we always had dogs in our house.
So farishtas went away hence there is no record of my sins

No wonder, whenever my dog is back, somehow from somewhere the neighboring lady appears & then whole day I have to explain it to my munnay ki honay wali amma.

Yeah we did have some very strange incidents in our house.
But it happened on the other side of the house--here dog never went.
So I guess if any thing--dog scared jins away

As far as I know babe, there's always kept a divine balance in the number of entities we don't see with our visible sight. Jinns are always there, and so are angels. If so was the case, then the two angels we have recording our good/'bad deeds wud also run away and leave our actions 'recordless' does that mean we all go to heaven/ hell or get sent to a state of limbo? :)

ANywho the way I've grown up hearing my mother, is that she says, there are angels who spead their wings or something protecting us always from what we do not see even while going about stepping around in places we don't even know anything exists.

Dogs may be considered filthy and all that, but why is it that when we take pity on them, Allah still rewards us. I mean vs to a snake, when we kill one, we recieve sawab or whatever even if its not attacking us. If we do the same to a dog with no reason and it being no threat to us, its considered creul?

Anywho... ppl do say that when a dog is in the house, angels don't enter...and same with portraits that angels don't to come to a house where there are pictures of living things and visible eyes.... shrugs

anywho.... the way I see it, we shudn't be so worried about so many details. If we're not harming anyone and still doing good surely Allah will see our good deeds all the same. As far as the jinns are considered, I'm pretty sure they've got a life of their own and we're far more scarier then they are these days ;)
