How much do you let friendships interfere in your work time? How much time from work do you saccrifice and put aside to make time for your friendships?
What’s more important?
Talking about friendships here, not family, so question is better suited towards singles.
Re: Friendships vs. Work
Friends are for when you're bored. So yeah whenever I'm bored.
Now if they need me for something, I'm always there for them.
Re: Friendships vs. Work
Well, work is definitely important than anything and "FRIENDS" should know that... no?
Re: Friendships vs. Work
so married folk don't have Friends? ... :D
they do.
I devote zero time to friendships at work unless its an emergency.
I have several friends that work in the same dept as me. At work, there is minimal socialization, there is no exceptions made, no special treatments for situations at come up at work.
work is work ... friends are friends. Good friends, worth keeping understand that and don't ask/expect you to compromise your work because of them.
Re: Friendships vs. Work
I make time, unless it could get me fired lol.

I've never had to deal with that type of conflict. The only time I can think of where they might overlap is if I'll inquire about a job opening for a friend or if I'll check with a friend to see if they're interested in an available position.
