So how close are your friends and how much you meet? 1 time a week or twice a week? Or once in a month or once every 15 days. Do you feel pressurized if they want to meet you every month?

I don't like pressure to maintain a friendship. Everyone needs room to breathe. I like to be there for my friends when they need me even if it is hard for me, but for general socializing, I like to see my convenience.

men in situations like mine face a different kind of problem in socializing with them. i'm 33 and most of my friends here in Canada and back home are married with children so i find it like intruding in their lives if we keep the same level of friendship as we used to have before they got married. now, our friendship is at a minimal barring a few...it's like meeting up for a movie or dinner once every two weeks or so. i always go out with friends at least once a week but it's always a different friend each week. i kinda rotate them lol.
it's tough to have friendship for men who are over 30 and still NOT married :(

after high school I ve really only made friends online, which means most of my friends have always been geographically very very far away from me
I would be okay with meeting friends once a month but probably not every week or even once every 15 days

I see my friends about once a month or every 6 weeks...I think for the most part we like it like that. We get together at someone's house...usually the person with the kids so they don't have to leave. Someone picks up dinner. Someone picks up dessert. Someone gets a movie or we just gossip and talk.

I had a very very special trio of my best friends during medical school. Though we are geographically far apart, these 3 girls make a LOT of difference to my life.
Other than that, I have a lot of friends online on and off GS as well.
But over all am more of a family person. I love meeting people, but at the end of the day, am happiest being with my family parents, siblings, hubby and of course my baby. People who text, talk, skype and meet their friends like practically all the time kind of surprise me. I just can't keep up with that.

With close friends, probly meet them once a month or every coupla weeks for dinner. With less close friends, probly every 2 or 3 months. And then there's the randoms I'll probly see every six months or year
