You wouldnt be saying this if you had my extended family (not immediate, alhamdulilah!) 
You can not choose your family, at least you can choose your friends - so one better do a good job at it.
Alhamdulilah I have a very close circle of friends and I can (and have) trust them with my life. A good and sincere friend is an absolute blessing.
