Would anyone of you foresee peaceful relations with my country ( india) in the furture ?
I have Joined this forum recently , after the Mumbai Massacre , ( must tell you I was quite surprised and Horrified by opinions voiced on Brasstacks on youtube ). I was pleasently surprised in the forum with the Views of many pakistanis..
What does it take for our countries to be friends again forever ?
Before u start taking up Kashmir as an example, Please give a thought India was created on the basis of secularism..and before you start bashing secularism of India ..We agree that we need to make much progress but we have already done tremendous progress in maintaining the secukar fabric of our country ..Most indian citizens support this outlook…
We cannot accept another seperation of India based on religion again…
But Kasmir is a seperate issue and if its the will of the kasmiri people then it must be respected..And God willing future years will ensure that the will of the kashmiri people will be upheld.
I am from the southern Indian City of Hyderabad which has a majority of muslims and I was brought up in a muslim neighbourhoods which blessed me with many muslim friends over the past 20 years..
I Hope this forum will bring the ideals of peace to the forefront.
I think we already know that India doesn't want peace. It wants a subjugated Pakistan. So no I don't forsee peace. What I see is a stalemate for the next 50 years as the situation in our region deteriorates further.
May be if sane indians like you stop electing hinduist terrorists such as Modi and co. it might help? That "Akhand Bharat" mentality is the root cause of these problems.
I agree with CM, I also see a stalemate even further deterioration in future.
if by peace we mean avioding in full scale war, yes that is there, but having relations like US-Canada if dream may never come true... elements in Indian establishment and poltician lives on the blood & terrorism, they won't allow both countries to reach any where near friendship...
So now back to the 'let's be friends' card? "We are bhai-bhai', we are your friends. The west is your foe. We share the same culture, same values". These tactics of playing the 'friendly & innocent' are old - The ways in which the indian exploitation operats is just remarkable.

No one wants war.. It's few leaders who want to create problems so that they can give 'bhashan' to others.. Btw, it was Butto in 80's who started supporting militants opening in kashmir and look the same terrorists are causing problem in pakistan. They now want US out of the country and don't care if they have to kill innocents in name of Islam..
beating war drums has taken us nowhere in last 62 years !! US and West (and china as well) are getting benefit from this fight... combined India-Pakistan was larger than Europe in size. Punjab is most fertile land in world.. but still we have poverty and hunger..
Oh God, now that their media propaganda tactic didnt work as they imagined (inciting US to attack Pakistan) so they're back to 'we want peace, no war' tactic???
Them denying of having made any threatening, inflameable call to zardari for war against Pakistan was also the part of this tactic of "let's be friends", maybe?

How could be your friend when you are occupying our territory.
Let kashmir go and be our best friends.
At this point you position is "we have robbed you , we are keeping your stuff . and we want to be your friends"

We apreciate your good will, but it will be good if peace loving Indians like you and otehrs make your politicians take concrete steps towards friendship.
FOr example, compaign against Baglihar Dam which is violation of Indus treaty, stop exerting diplomatic pressure to exenorate Sarabjit Singh a terrorist, stop supporting BLA etc.
Its the concrete steps that can built relations between the two countries.
SO in your view military solution is the final solution ...
Look at your own attitude you came in as worshiper of ahinsa now you are quoting how Indians beat Pakistan in a war. All within a span of few hours. Friendship requires patience and tolerance which you are not showing here. If you are prophet of peace you would have better attitude.
No , military solution is off the table too after Pakistan became a nuclear power now it is your turn to decide how you want to be a friend of Pakistan.
