This debate is between Sarab VS **FairysAngel **on the subject Friendship or Family…Relations is more important then Family/Friendship, where Sarab share with us the importance of Friendship is more important than family relations and FairysAngel will tell us its vice-versa.

Ok her goes my first post.
How can family be more important then friends? After all what is a family? Is it the group of people you grow up with and share a genetic connection? We share approximately 1/2 our DNA with siblings, 1/4 with aunts/uncles and 1/8 with cousins, but we also share 1/25 of our DNA with every single person on earth.
The human race is a family yet we can abuse and oppress each other irrespective of that fact. We know that many disgusting acts have been committed by people against their own close family members so a family relationship does not guarantee loyalty or protection.
In close families respect is given regardless of the persons character, while friends have to earn respect and maybe are more deserving of the respect they receive.
Friends are the family you choose, there will be people in every bodies family who behave in a negative way but you are forced to tolerate them just because you are related to them. You don't have to tolerate friends, so the friends you have will be worth more than the annoying family member you are forced to tolerate.

What is family? Is this bunch of individul's relation? No No No. Family is a base of any social group in any society which consisting of one head (husband or father) one sub-head (wife of mother) and their kidz. How few individuals can consisit a family? Because of love. Love tie two difference peoples regardless to any races where these two peoples share same goals and values, and can have long-term commitments to one another, and reside usually in the same dwelling place by increasing their generation next generation under one roof which recognize as Family.
Family relations are more important relation than friendship. I believe family is like a human body. If any part of body feels pain then the whole body get distrub and try to find out the cure for that specific part. Friendship due to unseen reason can't support but family does everytime. Like if a person abused you then ur friend who don't wish to get in trouble because of you or don't want you to get in trouble, will definately gonna say that 'ignore that person and lets carry on'. Your friend is unable to understand nor can feel ur emotions at that moment from what you are going through. But in case of family, they definately will gonna support you as i said earlier, family relations are like a one body. Friendship is like a cloth which can be replaced with new for whatsoever reason but the body part can't be replaced.

Sorry people I really wanted to post more in this debate but my weekend has been hectic!
This is my second post, I will give my disclaimer now, I have not had time to do more research so it is not as fluid as I would have liked.
I am in no way saying family relations are not important but history seems to show that it's the good relations with friends that have proved more fruitful.
Lets look at the prophet Musa pbuh, his mother was forced to leave him in a basket on the rivers edge in order to protect him from the pharoh. In effect he had no family, it was his followers that became his family and helped him deliver the 10 commandments to the rest of the believers.
Look at the prophet Isa pbuh, he only had a mother. Yes his relationship with his mother was important, but his relationship with his disciples (friends) helped him spread the word of God to the believers.
Look at the prophet Mohammed pbuh, he was sadley orphaned in childhood, yes his uncle raised him and cared for him, but his uncle never accepted Islam and did not support Mohammed pbuh in his cause. It was his companions (friends) the sahaba that protected him, supported him and helped him spread the word.

Family relations is more important than friendship because the family relations teaches us the value of love, care, affection of each family members and self-confidence, truthfulness among each others which provides us essential tools & suggestions for a success in life. Family supports us when we are surrounded by troubles. It helps us endure through tough times & bring joy and pleasure into our life. Like a child when get sick, her parents especially mother show her affection towards his child and take care of that child. Thats why i believe in narration it is stated the respect of mother is on top of all other family members. Friendships can come and go, however, family is here for life. It is so important that a family maintain close relations. Most important the relationship that exists between parents and children as this is how the family will expand with love and respecct with each others.

Saraab is winner lot of people like friends. Congratulations Sarab for winning this And thank you Fairy Angel for putting an effort into it. I love my friends and family both of them and its really hard to decide which way to go
