Re: Friendship of Justine Bieber & Malalla
Justin Bieber had a video chat on his phone with Malala. He expressed his eagerness to meet her to help support her charity. No biggie. It’s not as if Bieber and Malala have become best buddies or something.
"Malala Yousafzai Just FaceTimed With Justin Bieber](Malala Yousafzai Just FaceTimed With Justin Bieber | HuffPost Impact)
We don’t often get jealous of Justin Bieber, given his antics throughout the past year, but on Wednesday the 20-year-old pop star got to FaceTime with an amazing young woman.
That’s right, Bieber and Malala Yousafzai, a 17-year-old Pakistani education activist, had a video chat on their phones via FaceTime.
“Just got to FaceTime with Malala Yousafzai. She has such an incredible story. I can’t wait to meet her in person and talk about how I can support her and the @malalafund,” he wrote in the post, referencing the advocacy group Yousafzai heads which promotes girls’ access to education worldwide.
Next up, Yousafzai will get some actual face time with one of the world’s most influential women, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg. On Aug. 8, Sandberg will moderate a Q&A with Yousafzai, hosted by Facebook Live and LeanIn.org. Those interested in participating can submit a question for Yousafzai at Facebook Live’s website, Facebook’s Non-Profits page, LeanIn.org’s Facebook page and the Malala Fund’s Facebook page."
