Do you guys tend to only chill with and befriend desis or are you friends with anyone and everyone? Up until HS I found it easier to be friends with just anyone, but in HS i noticed how every ethnic group basically just had their own group and outsiders didnt really fit in with em as others did…

It's wierd... most of my friends end up being arabs (palestinians) since 4th grade. From New York to Jersey then to Philly and now Texas... WTH is going on mang!

Every one we talk is not a friend, call them mate and etc, but friend has a different meaning in Pakistan or in south Asian culture, indeed it is not related to any religion or sect though.

Friend is one who is sincere, who think for your welfare and well-being, who always give you good advice, who saves you from getting hurt emotionally, financially and / or physically, who is always with you in your sorrow and delight, who will scarifies his / her desires to make you happy. A friends will never ask for any reward for what he / she has done for you; they are simply sincere, honest, helping and straightforward.
