I miss the show a lot. It was my favorite after Simpsons. The new show Joey is not that good. I miss old Joey, Chandler, Phoebe, Monica, Ross and Rachel. Does anyone else miss Friends?

i miss friends too, they were great, i do't think joey is all that, if i'm honest with you i don't even wanna watch it, joey was the type of character that needed the others to get his point across, that was where the comedy was. On his own he just doesn't work. they are great, i'm always watching the repeats, i'm so sad when i was in school i had a friends notebook, pencil case and folder, i know i'm a freak!! But seriously it was one of the best comedies around.

The show was good, but barely had any real substance to it, and Seinfeld, the show about nothing was much better.

It was running out of air and needed to go off the air. If you watch the re-runs you can tell that the earlier episodes were a lot funnier than the later ones.

Older seasons were so much funnier than the laster ones (namely 9 and 10) but the show was definately the best one of its time. Even re-runs are so much better than some crappy sitcoms cmoing out these days. Plus I have been watching Friends since the start so a lot of episodes have nostalgiac moments :-/

i dont understand 1 thing..
there was a episode of friends where chandler is invited to a diner of joey n his family somethin with thanksgivin i think..and in that episode they show that joey has 8 or 9 (or even more) sisters..u know.. sitting around a table and eating and whatever..and then in ‘joey’ is mentioned that joey only has 1 sister..explain plz..

Yes Joey has 6 sisters but this sister in the new show lives in LA. I never heard anythign in JOEY that says tht he has one sister?? Have you?
By the way the episode you mentioning is the one where chandler cant remember which sister

I always thought the funniest parts of the show were the highschool flashbacks. Monica was fat, Chandler had Flock of Seagulls hair, Ross loved Rachel and Rachel before her nosejob. The show started getting really annoying when the whole Ross and Rachel thing was going on. And then the Joey and Rachel thing!!! It made the FINAL episode so predictable. You just knew that they had to cater to the fan letters-to finally have Ross and Rachel end up together.

One the also good espisode is also the one with the thanksgiving memories..phoebe in the armyhospital..chandler lost is his toe becoz of monica..who dropped the knife bcoz she was a bit nervous that chandler was around..in the end she comes up with a turky on her head..with the sun glasses..
joey comes to and he panics.. i really liked that one..

i loved the old episodes, but it repeats so much i dont miss it that much, and the last season was kinda dissapointing ...the thanksgiving episodes rocked!!!

But I dont miss it.. coz.. I have almost all the Episodes on DVDs :) so .... Whenever I want, I watch the old Seasons ... :)
