Welcome to a brand new approach to world peace. All across India, tens of thousands of children have begun writing heartfelt letters to the students in Pakistan . All across Pakistan, tens of thousands of children are replying with heartfelt letters back. New connections are being made. New friendships are being formed.
Imagine if all the schools from both nations were to participate? What will happen when this generation grows up?
At Friends Without Borders, we are making this possible, and invite you and your school to take part in this historic heart-to-heart experiment - where the children are the ones changing the world.
Welcome to our campaign… so simple, it just might work!

Friends Without Borders is a project of Manav Sadhna, an NGO working in education and social development, based in the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. We enjoy tax-exempt, non-profit status with both the Government of India.
Who are we? “We” are 99% children and some grown-ups who are working to let the children’s voices be heard.
Our planet is a beautiful home that can be shaped into whatever we can imagine. If only we had children’s eyes to see it, we probably would design it in a much better, more holistic way.
The children have no biases nor baggage. This is something that is only later inherited by an older generation which was unfortunate to inherit these things themselves. The children are simple and pure and by giving them more expression in the design of our world, we can avoid perpetuating the mistakes we have been perpetuating for far too long.
Behind this work are many giving and talented people, organizations, and even businesses who are all coming together to give children their chance to change the world. The common thread is that we all believe that this can happen. If you are a believer, we encourage you to join our team and become part of “us.” We’re having just way too much fun.
