Whats important is that she found the right guy, who she loves and who loves her. How many poor people have had gorgeous no-expense-spared weddings that fulfilled their every dream -only to find themselves feeing lonely and unloved in their marriage

That being said, its very normal what she is feeling. Since she still does feel something is missing I think she should totally throw herself a celebration party, I know a few people who were in a similar situation, for some reason or another their wedding celebration was small and quick, and then a few months later or even one year later, they did a big formal function to officially celebrate it. So she can totally do that if she wants, or if she doesnt want to do that, then she can throw an anniversary party and have a big party for that
