in contrast to all here, i would say meet the guy, see it yourself and observe he is what he portrays? sometime meeting someone is quite opposite to what you feel without meeting them.
by looking at the post guy is saying what girls assume very high and gentle way and that may not be the whole story what if he only say things cause know too much about girls and know they like that attitude! :)
in all this your friend is falling for his attitude cause he is not asking for date, not asking for pic not asking for number first etc, cause he know thats regarded well on the otherside and that will all come if he waits and play right.
